EXPLORATIONS OF

SYNCRETICA

A collection of 731 works navigating the thresholds of perception, transformation, and the ineffable.

“For it is written that the path to enlightenment is fraught with peril and tribulation, and only those who persevere in the face of adversity shall find the wisdom and understanding they seek.” [Penumbra 15:26]

Explorations of Syncretica is a collection of 731 works that visually interpret the philosophical and existential themes of Syncretica, a philosophical framework in development for 2 years that questions the nature of reality, consciousness, and transformation.

Divided into five categories—Penumbra, Visium, Ouros, Prisms, and Genesys— each section represents a different aspect of the human experience, from perception and belief to transcendence and dissolution.

The works within this collection are more than just visual expressions; they are existential inquiries rendered in form.

Each piece serves as a portal into a different layer of awareness, depicting moments of transformation, collapse, and realization depicted within the writing of Syncretica itself.

The collection blends abstract, surreal, and symbolic imagery to illustrate the journey of individuals confronting their own perception of self and existence.

At its core, Explorations of Syncretica reflects a dynamic interplay between narrative and visual art.

It moves fluidly between the visceral and the metaphysical, the structured and the chaotic, embracing the idea that reality itself is a construct shaped by experience and awareness.

Through these works, the collection challenges the boundaries of what is seen, what is known, and what is remembered.

Rendered in varying styles—from stark existential portraiture to chaotic dreamscapes—the works in Explorations of Syncretica exist at the threshold between the real and the ineffable.

They are not static interpretations, but invitations—visual incantations meant to provoke, disturb, and awaken.

The works do not seek to provide definitive answers to this reality but rather to immerse the viewer in the experience of becoming, and embrace the contradictions in revelations that emerge along the way.

The collection is an invitation to dissolve and rebuild, to witness and to become.

The Collection Chapters

The collection is broken into 5 main categories.

Each category visually represents chapters from one of the Testaments of Syncretica.

PENUMBRA

Chapter 15:
Features the Traveler's journey through the surreal desert, where they manipulate reality at a great personal cost.

Artworks are full-body representations of the Traveler in various landscapes, symbolizing the breaking and reconstructing of realities and the destruction of ego.

VISIUM

Chapter 1:
Follows the Dissenter exploring alternative beliefs in an occult order.

Artworks are square, featuring traditional religious structures and surrealistic occult doctrines, with textured, esoteric visuals depicting figures breaking through the constraints of traditionalism.

+

Chapter 6:
The Dissenter and her allies discover universal knowledge in an ethereal library.

Artworks depict mostly female figures experiencing vision rituals, with imagery of light from the third eye chakra and breaking reality.

OUROS

Chapter 14:
Depicts the Sojourn's psychedelic experience with the entity Aeon, exploring non-linear time and connections to nature.

The artworks are primal and surreal, resembling a hybrid of cave paintings and surrealism, capturing the Sojourn's hallucinogenic journey.

PRISMS

Chapter 18:
The Seeker transcends physical form, merging with the cosmic fabric.

Artworks are intricate, abstract portraits featuring lines exploding from the third eye chakra, representing transformation and the breaking of reality.

GENESYS

Chapter 1:
The creation myth of Syncretica, with a particle expanding into infinite space, birthing multiple realities.

Artworks are highly abstract, featuring eyes or third eye symbols, exploding into space and nebulas, capturing the quantum consciousness and the birth of the universe.

Process, Thoughts, & Philosophy.

"Explorations of Syncretica" is a collection that took shape organically, beginning in August 2024 and culminating in February 2025. Initially, I created these works in a freestyle manner, without the intention of forming a cohesive collection. Over time, they became a visual manifestation of the ideas and themes within Syncretica, serving as a timeline of insight and reflection.

This collection represents the deep connection between my visual art and the philosophical narratives of Syncretica. It explores themes of enlightenment, ego dissolution, and transformation—central ideas that have shaped both my artistic and written work. Many of these pieces emerged in real time as I expanded and refined Syncretica, particularly during my work on Genesys.

I see my art as something beyond traditional surrealism or enlightenment-based work. It is what I call existential surrealism—a raw, intricate, and sometimes chaotic representation of the painful but necessary journey toward higher consciousness. My work isn't just about ascension; it's about the struggle, the sacrifice, and the tension between understanding and dissolution of self. I believe that images can be the delivery system for complex ideas. In that light, each piece is a compressed concept referencing the deeper spiralling concepts within Syncretica, embodying the paradox of cosmic awareness and personal deconstruction.

Ultimately, this collection is a visual articulation of my ongoing search for meaning. It is an attempt to depict the fundamental question that drives me: What is this reality? Through this work, I aim to capture not just the answers, but the journey itself—the moments of clarity, the breaking points, and the space between.
